We had a fantastic stay at this luxurious hotel! The location was perfect, with beautiful views around the hotel. We loved being able to walk to the city center and explore everything that this charming town had to offer. The staff at reception were friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The lobby and corridors were nicely decorated, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the bathrooms were a highlight, with excellent facilities.

Super location of the hotel directly at the lock or lake, therefore great view from the terrace. Very large and clean room, top friendly and helpful staff. By foot about 10 minutes to the city centre. A small micro-brewery is also right next door. Breakfast is very good and rich. Even a good evening buffet and coffee and cake at noon is included in the overnight price.

Unfortunately no free parking available, had to park a little further away. Or expensive at the hotel, which we didn't want.

It was a quaint and historical hotel with an excellent staff. Breakfast was great as was the location adjacent to the pond-river.

The hotel is situated in a great spot near the river and church, with a wonderful view around, particularly in the summer. the rooms, bathrooms, and staff service are clean and of a good standard. the breakfast buffet has a lot of options and is tasty.

The hotel feels dated and might not be comfortable who are looking for modern amenities.

Rooms big and excellent bathroom, Breakfast average though plenty of choice of meats cheese, Bread, conserve, 3 choices of breakfast cereal porridge. Bacon very fatty, and eggs.

Dinner almost like breakfast, Only one choice of hot meal if you didn't like it tuff, thats it. and no veg.

Great food option, superb location, and reliable Wi-Fi. Unlimited tea and coffee was a definite plus, as was the varied, high-quality buffet breakfast. The hotel's location was wonderful, with everything within easy walking distance, including the major attractions. The Wi-Fi was quick, reliable, and offered free of charge in the rooms. These features made our stay more pleasant.

The quality of the towels could be improved, plus the room we stayed in had an unpleasant smell. The room was delightful, but the towels provided were worn and stained.

We loved the hotel's amenities and its picturesque location right next to the river, with great views of the city center and the church. The staff was warm and friendly, making our stay all the more enjoyable.

There was nothing we didn't like.

The hotel location was great, right by the river, and close to the city center. the breakfast was excellent, with a good selection. It was great to have free coffee and cakes in the afternoon and a light meal in the evening.

The room was a bit small and there was no closet. There was no air conditioning, and the fan was too noisy to use during the night.
